Badru Juma Rajabu is highly skilled communications specialist with 2+ years of experience in internal and external communications, public relations, and management of NGO’s. His distinguishing trait is that he treats management as entertainment. The reason is simple: if something is not funny or relevant enough, people switch the channel. Badru has a special interest in personal branding and believes that the road to success is all about effort. Based in Dares salaam, Tanzania, he is determined to uncover the secrets of how successful people and Organizations communicate. Currently a Youth Coordinator at Global Peace Foundation Tanzania, a position that focuses on youth development, capacity building, and youth participation in Peace Building, governance, security, conflict resolution, national and international peace, stability, and other nation building ingredients. He is a Commonwealth Youth Delegate to Tanzania, a position he will be holding for four years since 2016 .Similarly a member of various youth-based organizations including the World Youths Alliance and the United Nations Youth Association in Tanzania (YUNA), Global Change Makers, Commonwealth Youth Health Network and a signatory to the East African Community Youth policy. He is also an Open Government Africa Youth Champion having represented African Youth in recent Open Government Partnership Conference in South Africa, Cape Town 4th/7th May, 2016.and has spoken at various conferences and seminars particularly in the South and East African coast. Furthermore, While Badru was a Global Peace Foundation Volunteer in Uganda 2013/2014 is also the Principal Co-Founder of Makerere University’s East African Community Chapter which assists young students in career development, personal branding, leadership, and civic engagement.
