Florencia Guerzovich is an independent consultant. She currently works as a Senior Advisor in Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning with the Global Partnership for Social Accountability and the Public Service Accountability Monitor. She is also a collaborates with Global Integrity and the Grupo de Pesquisa Politeia - Coprodução do Bem Público: Accountability e Gestão, ESAG – Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (Brasil). Florencia led the team of researchers that conducted "Learning to Open Government,” a first of its kind research of how the Open Government Partnership is playing out in practice in five countries. She has also written on participation, learning, coproduction and social accountability as drivers of open government. Florencia has been innovating, connecting, researching, and problem solving for big, complex governance problems since 2000, when she joined the Department of Transparency Policies of the Argentinean Anti-corruption Office. She also served the Transparency and Accountability Initiative’s Program Officer, Impact and Learning and worked with multiple organizations in the field. She has earned her PhD in political science from Northwestern University. Florencia also has a Master’s degree in International Relations from FLACSO/Argentina and a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Studies from Universidad Torcuato di Tella in Argentina.
