My name is Joseph Muya, born in a remote town in Kenya. called Machakos. Raised in a lower middle class university and fought to get education as it is the only platform that has given me a voice. I am the founder of absociety called Tuwakuze Africa that seeks to empower orphaned, underprivileged and vulnerable children to access quality education. I believe in empowering those who don't have access to education in my country.

I have been a youth leader in my community and volunteered for over 15years in various capacities.

I have a keen interest in matters of peace and conflict and I am a fellow of the prestigious Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Center for Peace Research in Arusha , Tanzania. And I have Worked with the East Africa Community and International Conference on Great Lakes Region on the subjects of Democracy and Good Good Governance in Africa.

Currently, I am a student at the Univeristy of Bradford pursuing a Masters of Arts degree in African Peace and Conflict Studies as those are matters tied closely to governance back in my country and region. Therefore, any and all exposure on the topic of governance that I can be able to receive I would highly appreciate as I can be able to apply it to improve my country, region and my community.
