Miroslav Schlossberg – civic hacker. Miroslav is board member of Croatian Society for Open Systems and Internet (HrOpen). His interests are application of open source in government, freedom of information and transparency. Main role in HrOpen NGO is encouraging efficient development and advancements in open source and internet services and applications of open source technologies. Miroslav is very involved in researching, advocation and education activities. He is actively involved in shaping open data public policies, application of open technologies and government transparency analysis. Miroslav is organizer of CodeAcross and OpenDataDay Croatia event that is happening yearly since 2014 in Zagreb, Croatia. From 23rd March 2014 he is leader of Code for Croatia, an HrOpen expert group. He is lead in Alaveteli Croatia project Imamo pravo znati which serves as a public platform for sending FOI requests launched in June 2015 and supported by Information Commissioner and Croatian OGP Council. He is also member of Croatian OGP council where he represent civil society. His involvement in open data policy shaping continued as guest at various open data and government transparency conferences in Croatia.
