Hon. Andrew G. Tehmeh is the Deputy Minister for Administration at Liberia’s Ministry of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism since December 2014 where he has oversight responsibilities of Liberia’s OGP activities including developing and overseeing implementation of national action plans. He currently serves as Chairperson of the African Governments Points of Contact forum. Prior to this assignment, Hon. Tehmeh served as senior policy coordinator and Deputy Minister for Planning and Administration at the ministry of Gender and Development in Liberia. Before returning to Liberia in 2009 from the United States, he served as Director of Programs of the Center for Families of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches in Minnesota. He holds a double bachelor degree in both Political Science and Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Masters of Public policy (MPP) degree from University of Minnesota’s Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs in Minneapolis, Minnesota – USA.
