Federico Recalde joined the USAID Democracy, Human Rights and Governance team in October 2014 and now serves as the person of contact for activities related to civil service career, internal control, access to information, open government, e-government, open data and civil society, as well as public financial management. Before USAID, Federico worked for the Organization of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) based in Paris where he acted as political analyst, coordinator and communication specialist of a series of projects managed by the OECD Development Centre with the Economist Intelligence Unit, the Rockefeller Foundation, the UN Capital Development Fund and the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development. Prior to joining the OECD, Federico lived for 13 years in Geneva Switzerland where he studied and worked for the International Labor Organization (ILO) and various Geneva based NGOs on environmental, migration, governance issues. Federico received a Master's Degree of Public Administration from the University of Geneva and a Master's Degree in Development Studies from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies.
