Ms. Wilhemina (Mina) Mensah is a Development professional with a strong passion for the promotion and protection of human rights. She has worked extensively on human rights advocacy and is a strong advocate of Freedom of information. She is currently the Regional Coordinator of the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) Africa Office based in Ghana and oversees the Offices programmes which include access to information, access to justice and human rights monitoring. She holds an MSC. in Development Studies from London South Bank University (UK), Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism and a Diploma in French from the Alliance Française (Ghana). She is a member of the Steering Committee of the Coalition on the Right to Information (RTI) Ghana and also a member of Ghana’s Open Government Steering Committee.
