Aram Asatryan is a governance and public policy professional with more than 15 years experience in project formulations, implementation and monitoring in the government of Armenia. His areas of specialization include public sector reform with particular emphasis on e-governance and international cooperation. Aram is currently leading the cutting edge program at the Prime Minister’s office on Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Armenia. He has in depth experience in Open Government Partnership initiative and the Sustainable Development Goals framework. Mr. Asatryan has served as a consultant for numerous international development initiatives, governmental special committees and advisory boards. Mr. Asatryan has a degree in Management and Economic Relations from the Armenian State University of Economics, School of Sociology and Labor Economy. Additionally he has completed a midcareer course on Public Policy and Public Administration at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University (USA).
