I am a Development Planner with over 5 years of experience in project management, community development and pro-poor advocacy.

I currently works as an Administrative and Project Manager with STMA-CSUF; a Non-Governmental organization formed through a partnership between the United Nations Human Settlement Programme (UN-HABITAT), Government of Ghana and the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly to facilitate assess to funding for low-income housing, slum upgrading and prevention projects and programmes for slum dwellers within the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.

A major part of my work involves making the voice of the marginalized, vulnerable and deprived members of slum communities heard and included in policy decisions by the Local Government Authority. Also, issues such as HIV/AIDs and hygienic-related illnesses such as malaria, dysentery and cholera are some areas of interest STMA-CSUF is involved with.

With support from REBOOT; a partner of the OGP initiative, we have been able to engage most communities through the Metropolitan Assembly's Town and Area Council civic engagements - that encourages participatory decision-making and fosters a sense of involvement by denizens in policy formulation at the local level.
