Personality Lungile is community developer at heart, she believes in getting the work and refuses to allow designation and positions to limit her. She is family oriented and human rights activist. She is a caring and considerate person. Even though Lungile is less organised she does get the work done.

Brief Career summary Lungile gracefully started her career at the Kwa-Zulu Nata Blind and Deaf Society, as a District Social Worker from March 2002 and resigned in February 2005. She advocated for the rights of person with disabilities and facilitated the establishment of the district disability forum in partnership with the district office of the department of health. she still maintained a good relationship with her first supervisor Mr Neville Balakrishna.

She left the Blind AND Deaf Society in 2005 and briefly joined Pietermaritzburg Child and Welfare Society, where she works and an intake social worker, she left the Child and Welfare in march 2006.

She then stepped out of her comfort zone and joined working for the EThekwini municipality, Water and Sanitation Unit as an Institutional and Development Officer. This is where she gained and sharpen her project and people’s management skills.

After getting married in 2009 February she relocated to Johannesburg in March 2009. Afterwards, she was employed by the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, where she wholeheartedly embraced the position of a National Disability Specialist. Post the Fund’s strategic review all positions were revised and hers was then revised to that of a general Program Specialist managing Western and Northern Cape Province grantees.

It was during this time where she gained developmental grant making, project management, basic financial management experience and skills. She left the Fund in July 2009, and in January 2015 passionately joined Greater Rape Intervention Program in Nelspruit as their Chief Executive Officer, she successfully marketed the organisation provincial and to a certain extend nationally. She managed to raise a total of 25, 678 million (19, 309 million three year cycle) She resigned from GRIP on June 2016, and enthusiastically joined Nadcao on August 2016 as their Strategic Support Coordinator
