Rachel has worked with Restless Development for the past six years on youth engagement, campaigning and youth-led accountability initiatives. For the last three years Rachel has been Restless Development’s lead on accountability programming, which has included the set-up and implementation of the Global Youth Power initiative. Being implemented in Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Nepal and UK, the project empowers young people to use data and information to hold decision-makers to account for development commitments that affect their lives.

Currently based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, Rachel is committed to ensuring that young people can play and active, meaningful and central role in the implementation, monitoring and accountability of the Sustainable Development Goals, and sees this as crucial to their success.

Rachel has a Masters in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh.
