Wendy Thomas is Data and Information National Lead at the UK’s Environment Agency, with responsibility for Metadata and Data Flow Mapping. From October 2015 – July 2016 she managed the Environment Agency’s Open Data project, which resulted in the release of over 1900 open datasets. Before coming to the Environment Agency, Wendy worked in information and library services at Harvard University, the New York Public Library, the Women’s Library in London and the British Film Institute. She has a Master of Science in Library and Information Science.
