Jeff Thindwa is Manager of the Global Partnership for Social Accountability in the World Bank Group. He joined the World Bank in 2000 as Senior Social Development Specialist, subsequently leading the Participation and Civic Engagement Cluster in the Social Development Department. In 2009 he joined the Bank’s South Asia Region, and worked on integrating social accountability in WBG operations. He also led creation of, and managed the ‘Program on Accountability in Nepal’-PRAN a grant-making, capacity building and knowledge program supporting civils society and government for inclusive governance. In 2010 Mr. Thindwa joined The World Bank Institute as Lead Specialist, and became Manager of its Social Accountability Practice in 2012. In 2014 he was appointed Practice Manager for Open and Collaborative Governance in the World Bank’s new Governance Global Practice.
