Elaine Geyer-Allély works on Governance, Policy and Sustainable Development at WWF International. She co-led WWF Network's engagement on the Post-2015 Development Agenda and Is focal point for WWF International on social development for conservation. She led WWF International's gender audit and works with Network colleagues to build capacity and effectiveness on rights-based approaches, gender, and indigenous issues in WWF's conservation work. Prior to working for WWF, Elaine was Country Representative in Mali for The Carter Center’s Global Development Initiative, supporting sustainable development planning and access to information and, from 1991 to 2002, policy analyst for the OECD Environment Directorate on sustainable consumption and production patterns. Her academic background is in international environmental policy, development economics and biodiversity conservation and management.
