Niklas Kossow is the Communications Officer of the EU FP7 ANTICORRP Project and also works as a PhD Candidate at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. His research focusses on the role of civil society in fighting corruption and the use of online media by anti-corruption movements. Niklas is an anti-corruption expert with a broad interest, also working as an analyst for Freedom House and as a freelance consultant for the United Nations Development Program and the World Wide Web Foundation. He has gained previous work experience with Transparency International, the German civil service, the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) and the German Bundestag. Originally fom Cologne, he holds a B.A. from University College London (UCL) and a MPP from the Hertie School of Governance. He has been a fellow of the German National Merit Foundation, the Hertie Foundation and the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation. A native German, Niklas is also fluent in English, French and Russian.
