Abigail Bellows works at the U.S. Department of State, where she covers anti-corruption and governance issues for the Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights. Abigail previously served at the U.S. Department of Defense in the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and in the Department of State's Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations. Before joining government, Abigail worked on public accountability issues as a grassroots organizer and consultant in New York City and India. Abigail holds a BA in Political and Social Thought from the University of Virginia and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
